Brian, owner of ESPR, has a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Central Florida. Brian has been a licensed physical therapist since 2006 and a certified athletic trainer since 2002 (retired ATC 2024), specializing in treating athletic and orthopedic injuries for high school, collegiate, and professional level athletes. Prior to moving back to Colorado, Brian worked as the Director of Rehabilitation for the Sports Medicine Associates of South Florida. While there, he was able to gain 4 years of extremely valuable experience working with the area's top orthopedic surgeons. Brian has observed many orthopedic surgeries, and rehabilitated virtually every type of post-surgical orthopedic condition. After undergoing three knee surgeries himself, he has been in the shoes of a patient, and he knows how hard it is, and what it takes to fully recover. Brian formerly played competitive soccer and rugby but enjoys all types of sports. In his free time, you can find Brian spending it with his beautiful family including his wife Julie, his 2 boys Henry and Wesley, and their crazy dogs!

Julie, owner of ESPR, has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Arizona and in 2006 received her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Central Florida. Julie enjoys treating all athletic and orthopedic injuries and she uses a combination of different treatment approaches with a strong emphasis on manual therapy. Different treatment approaches range from Integrative Dry Needling, IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue mobilization), cupping, myofascial release, mobilizations with movement, and muscle energy techniques, to functional exercise and Kinesiotaping. Over the years Julie has done various continuing education coursework on high velocity spine, pelvis, and sacral manipulation, Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), blood flow restriction training, and integrative dry needling. She is fluent in Spanish and is passionate about her work. She looks forward to treating each patient with exceptional care. Julie enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband Brian and their two boys Henry and Wesley.
Kristen is a Montana native and moved to Colorado in 2019. She started dancing at a young age, training in jazz, tap and ballet. In middle school and high school, she performed with competition studios with a focus on jazz and hip hop. She completed her Bachelor's of Science in Community Health with an emphasis on exercise science, minor
Kristen is a Montana native and moved to Colorado in 2019. She started dancing at a young age, training in jazz, tap and ballet. In middle school and high school, she performed with competition studios with a focus on jazz and hip hop. She completed her Bachelor's of Science in Community Health with an emphasis on exercise science, minor in art and photography from Montana State University. In high school and college, she focused mainly on classical ballet, pointe and modern dance. Kristen completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from University of South Dakota. In physical therapy school, she worked with dancers from Ohio State University, BalletMet and Oregon Ballet Theatre. Kristen has additional training in manual therapy, dry needling, Stott Pilates and concussion management and return to sport protocol. She is currently completing her Canine Rehab Certification and has additional training in horse and rider management. When not dancing, Kristen enjoys spending time with her husband and animals hiking, paddleboarding, camping, biking and exploring the outdoors.
Jitka is originally from the Czech Republic and has called Longmont her home since 2003. She’s passionate about movement and helping others to get back on their feet.

Jitka focuses on building relationships with all her patients that will empower and educate them to heal and recover. Her compassionate, lighthearted persona creates a comfortable physical therapy experience.
She’s always looking for ways to improve her craft so she can better serve those she works with. Seeing patients return to things they love is one of her favorite things about physical therapy and she takes pride in being a part of that journey.
Outside of work, Jitka enjoys spending time in nature (HIKING, biking, skiing, rollerblading, paddleboarding, camping…), traveling around the US and internationally, hanging out with her family, friends, and her awesome German Shepherd Selma. She’s all about an active lifestyle!
