Often, athletes will train in the same repetitive movement patterns allowing muscle imbalances to occur. Muscle imbalances are notorious for increasing risk of injury. (i.e., ACL tears, ankle sprains, muscle strains, shoulder injuries, back injuries, etc). Muscle imbalances are also prevalent in students who sit all day, or professionals who work behind the desk. These imbalances will lead to poor movement patterns.
Our goal is not only to quickly identify dysfunctional movement patterns, but to prescribe corrective exercise to address the dysfunction.
A dysfunctional movement pattern will always present as either a mobility or stability problem, and sometimes both. The experts at ESPR have been specifically trained to identify poor movement patterns through a series of selective functional movements (SFMA). Let us find your deficits, and educate you about it!
We are passionate about preventing injury!
